This Privacy Policy describes the rules for processing personal data and the use of cookies in connection with the use of the website https://sierragolf.pl (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).

The Controller processes personal data in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”), the Polish Personal Data Protection Act, the Telecommunications Law, and the Act on the Provision of Electronic Services.

  1. Purposes and Legal Bases for Data Processing

Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Provision of services and handling of reservations – golf, accommodation, restaurant, events, tournaments, training (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Handling of contact forms (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
  • Compliance with legal obligations – accounting, guest registration, tax regulations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Organization of competitions and tournaments, including publication of results (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • Marketing and profiling of offers, including online advertising, remarketing, and analysis of user preferences (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).
  • Sending of newsletters – only based on the user’s voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3.1. The user may voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter by providing their e-mail address.

3.2. The newsletter is used to send information about:

  • current events and golf tournaments,
  • accommodation and restaurant offers,
  • training sessions and special events,
  • promotions and services of Sierra Golf Resort.

3.3. The legal basis for processing data for this purpose is the user’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in connection with Article 10 of the Act on the Provision of Electronic Services and Article 172 of the Telecommunications Law).

3.4. The user may withdraw consent to receive the newsletter at any time – for example, by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the footer of the message or by contacting the Controller. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

3.5. Newsletter subscriber data is stored until consent is withdrawn, but not longer than 3 years from the last recorded activity.

Data may be disclosed to:

– the Controller’s employees and associates,

– providers of IT services, mailing and hosting systems,

– accounting office, legal advisors, and payment service providers,

– partners supporting the organization of tournaments and events,

– public authorities when required by law.

If data is transferred outside the EEA (e.g., to Google or Meta), such transfer is based on compliance mechanisms such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

  • rectify and update your data,
  • erase your data,

  • data portability,
  • object to processing,
  • withdraw consent (e.g., for the newsletter) at any time.

You may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
